We're Zachery and Mikayla Means, the husband-and-wife team behind This Means Everything Photography.
At the end of 2023, we started this business with a prayer and a vision, asking God to guide every step of the journey and every couple and family who would step in front of our camera.
Photography quickly became more than just taking pictures—it became a way to preserve the moments that matter most.
As a husband-and-wife wedding team, we believe photographs are more than images. They're lasting reminders of the people you love, the emotions you felt, and the memories you'll cherish for generations.
Zach is your lead photographer, capturing every meaningful moment with intention and care. Mikayla is by his side at every wedding as your dedicated wedding-day assistant, helping with timelines, dresses, veils, bouquets, and all the little details that allow your day to flow seamlessly. Together, our goal is to create an experience where you feel supported, comfortable, and fully present from beginning to end.
Our own marriage inspires the way we serve every couple. We know firsthand that the little moments often become the memories you'll treasure most—the joyful tears, the quiet glances, the laughter shared with family, and the embrace of the people you love.

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR WEDDING DAY
(AND WHY IT SHAPED EVERYTHING)
When we were planning our wedding, we thought we had everything figured out.
Like many couples, we were certain we wanted to skip the first look. We believed seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle would make the moment even more emotional.
Then our photographer—someone who had guided countless couples through their wedding days—gently offered us a different perspective.
She explained that a first look wasn't about taking anything away from the ceremony. Instead, it created a quiet, intimate moment before the day rushed by—an opportunity to pause, breathe, and simply be together before the celebration began.
We hesitated...
Then we trusted her.
That decision changed everything.
Our first look became one of the most meaningful moments of our entire wedding day.
Away from the timeline, the noise, and the crowd, we shared a quiet moment that was completely our own. We laughed. We cried. We prayed. We simply stood together, taking in the significance of the day before it all began.
Our photographer captured those moments gently and unobtrusively, and to this day, those images remain some of the most treasured photographs we own—not because they're perfect, but because they take us right back to how that moment felt.
That experience changed the way we view wedding photography forever.

Mikayla enjoys crocheting and creating things by hand, while Zach loves music and serves as a dialysis technician, a role that has given him an even deeper appreciation for how precious every season of life truly is.
Together, we also serve as worship leaders at our church, where our faith continues to shape the way we love, serve, and care for others.
