What to Wear Guide:

One of the first questions we hear from almost every senior is, "What should I wear?" The good news is, there isn't a perfect answer.

Your senior session is all about celebrating you. Your personality, your interests, your style, and this exciting season of life. Whether your style is casual, athletic, classic, western, trendy, outdoorsy, or somewhere in between, the best outfits are the ones that make you feel comfortable and confident.

Remember, these aren't just photos for today. These are the portraits you'll look back on years from now, so choosing outfits that feel timeless and true to who you are will help your images never go out of style.

Start with These Three Looks:

If you're not sure where to begin, don't worry!

We always recommend bringing these

three outfits because they create a gallery

that's both meaningful and full of variety.

Casual:

This is the outfit that feels most like you. Think of your favorite pair of jeans, a comfortable shirt, a sweater, flannel, boots, sneakers, or anything you'd naturally wear. Confidence always photographs better than following trends.

Formal:

Choose one outfit that's a little more dressed up. Whether it's a dress, button-down shirt, blazer, slacks, or another outfit you'd wear for a special occasion, this look creates timeless portraits you'll love for years to come.

Future You:

This is one of our favorite looks! Bring something that represents where life is taking you after graduation. Maybe it's a college sweatshirt, military attire, scrubs, trade gear, business attire, your FFA jacket, a letterman jacket, or something connected to your future career or passions. This outfit tells the story of the exciting chapter that's just beginning.

Of course, these are simply a starting point.

Your senior session should reflect your story, so if there's another outfit that better represents

your personality or interests,

we'd love to include it.

A Few Helpful Tips!

When choosing colors, we recommend sticking

with timeless tones like:

neutrals, earth tones, denim, navy,

olive, black, white, and burgundy.

Simple patterns photograph beautifully, but if

you're deciding between a bold print and

a solid color, the simpler option is usually the better choice.

Before your session, make sure your outfits are clean,

wrinkle-free, and fit comfortably.

Don't forget to bring shoes that coordinate with each outfit,

and if we'll be walking between locations,

pack a comfortable pair to change into.

Bring the Things That Matter Most

Some of the most meaningful portraits come

from including the things that make you, you.

Whether it's your sports equipment, musical instrument, hunting or fishing gear, boots, truck, horse, books, camera,  or even artwork, we'd love to incorporate the hobbies and passions that tell your story. These little details make your gallery even more personal and meaningful.

Most Importantly...

Don't overthink it.

You don't need a brand-new wardrobe or expensive clothes to have amazing senior portraits. You just need to show up as yourself.

If you're unsure about an outfit, bring it! We're always happy to help you decide what photographs best. Our goal is to make this experience fun, relaxed, and completely stress-free so you can focus on enjoying one of the most exciting seasons of your life.

We can't wait to celebrate your story.
