This Means More

An Experience Guide

A meaningful photography experience for the moments that deserve to be remembered.

Childhood

Welcome

Hi friend,

First, thank you.

Out of all the photographers you could have chosen, you've trusted me to preserve a chapter of your story. That isn't something I take lightly.

Whether we're celebrating a growing family, your senior year, an engagement, an anniversary, or simply the beauty of everyday life, this experience is about so much more than taking pictures.

It's about preserving the moments that become memories.

The moments that make you pause years from now and remember not just how life looked—but how it felt.

My hope is that from the moment you book your session until the day your photographs are hanging on your walls, you'll feel cared for, encouraged, and completely at ease.

You don't have to know how to pose.

You don't have to have the perfect outfit.

You don't have to worry about getting everything just right.

You simply have to show up as yourself.

I'll take care of the rest.

I'm so grateful you're here.

Some Moments Deserve More

Some moments deserve more than

a quick photo on your phone.

They deserve to be remembered.

Because one day...

The tiny hands won't fit inside yours.

Your graduate will become an adult.

The "yes" will become a marriage.

The house that's full of little feet will grow quiet.

The season you're living today will become a memory.

Life has a way of changing before we even realize it.

That's why I believe photographs matter.

Not because they're perfect.

But because they help us remember what mattered most.

What Is This Means More?

This Means More was created from a simple belief:

The most meaningful photographs aren't the ones that are perfectly posed—they're the ones that tell the truth about your life.

Your story is unlike anyone else's.

It's found in the laughter you share.

The way your children reach for your hand.

The quiet glance between two people who love each other.

The confidence you've fought hard to find.

The traditions your family has built.

The milestones you've prayed for.

Those are the moments worth preserving.

This experience isn't about creating a version of your life that doesn't exist.

It's about celebrating the beautiful one you're already living.

My Promise to You

When you step in front of my camera, my goal isn't simply to create beautiful photographs.

My goal is to create an experience where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself.

That means I'll guide you every step of the way.

I'll help with posing.

I'll find the best light.

I'll notice the little details.

I'll cheer your kids on.

I'll laugh with you.

I'll slow things down when we need to.

Because the best images happen when you stop thinking about the camera and start enjoying the people beside you.

If you leave your session saying,

"That was actually so much fun,"

then I've done my job.

The photographs are simply the beautiful reminder of the experience we created together.

Preparing for Your Session

Take a deep breath.

You don't have to have everything figured out before your session.

You don't need to practice poses in the mirror.
You don't need Pinterest-perfect outfits.
You don't need children who sit still or smile on command.

You simply need to come ready to be present.

The rest? We'll figure out together.

Wear What Feels Like You

The best outfit is one that makes you feel confident and comfortable.

Choose clothing that reflects your personality and complements the people you're being photographed with—not something that feels like a costume.

A few suggestions:

• Stick with soft, neutral, or earthy tones for a timeless look.
• Coordinate colors rather than matching exactly.
• Avoid large logos or distracting graphics.
• Wear something you can move, sit, and laugh in comfortably.
• If you're bringing multiple outfits, have them steamed and ready before you arrive.

When you feel comfortable, it shows—and that's what creates natural, genuine photographs.

If Little Ones Are Joining Us

Kids don't have to be perfect.

In fact, I hope they aren't.

Some of the sweetest moments happen when they're exploring, laughing, cuddling, or simply being themselves.

A few things that can help:

• Make sure everyone has had a snack before the session.
• Bring water and a few mess-free snacks just in case.
• Pack a favorite comfort item if it helps your child feel secure.
• Avoid telling them they have to "smile" or "behave."

Instead, tell them you're going on an adventure together.

We'll play, laugh, and make memories along the way.

Trust the Process

One of the first things many clients tell me is:

"We're so awkward in front of the camera."

Can I let you in on a little secret?

Almost everyone says that.

You don't have to know what to do with your hands.
You don't have to know where to look.
You don't have to know how to pose.

That's why I'm here.

I'll gently guide you throughout the session while leaving room for the candid moments that can't be planned.

Those are often the images you'll treasure most.

Before You Leave Home

Before heading to your session, take one last moment to slow down.

Turn on your favorite music.

Take a deep breath.

Leave a few minutes early so you don't feel rushed.

This isn't about checking something off your to-do list.

It's about pressing pause and making space for a

season of your life that deserves to be remembered.

I'll meet you there.

Here are some tips and suggestions for each session we capture!

Couples Session

Whether you're celebrating an engagement, an anniversary, or simply documenting this season of your relationship, this session is all about the connection you share.

My goal isn't to create perfectly posed images—it's to capture the laughter, quiet moments, and genuine love that make your relationship uniquely yours.

A Few Tips

  • Choose outfits that complement one another instead of matching exactly.

  • Neutral, earthy, or soft colors photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you.

  • Take a deep breath and enjoy being together—you don't have to know how to pose. I'll guide you every step of the way.

  • Most importantly, have fun. Some of the best moments happen in between the poses.

What a beautiful season to celebrate.

Whether you're counting down the days until your first baby arrives or adding another little one to your family, this session is about honoring the incredible journey you're on. For maternity photos, the best time to capture would be around 30-34 weeks!

A Few Tips

  • Wear something that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable.

  • Flowing dresses and soft textures photograph wonderfully, but the most important thing is that you feel like yourself.

  • If your partner or children are joining, we'll capture your growing family's story together.

  • Don't worry about posing—I will guide you into natural, flattering poses that celebrate this season.

One day, these photographs will become part of your child's story, reminding them how deeply they were loved before they were even born.

Branding Session

Your brand is more than a business—it's your story, your passion, and the people you serve.

This session is designed to create authentic images that reflect who you are while giving you a library of content you can confidently use across your website, social media, and marketing.

A Few Tips

  • Bring products, tools, or props that represent your business.

  • Wear outfits that align with your brand and make you feel confident.

  • Think about the message you want your audience to feel when they see your images.

  • Don't be afraid to show your personality—people connect with people.

Together, we'll create images that feel professional, authentic, and unmistakably you.

Childhood changes so quickly, and these sessions are designed to preserve the joy, wonder, and personality that make this stage so special.

Don't worry about perfect smiles or perfectly still moments.

Kids are meant to play, explore, and be themselves—and that's exactly what I want to capture.

A Few Tips

  • Dress your child in comfortable clothing they can move and play in.

  • Bring water, a small snack, and a favorite comfort item if needed.

  • Let your little one know you're going on a fun adventure instead of asking them to "smile for the camera."

  • Relax and enjoy the moment—I'll take care of the rest.

The biggest smiles often happen when children are simply free to be kids, and those are the memories you'll treasure most.

The days may feel long, but the years pass by in the blink of an eye.

Family sessions are about more than gathering everyone together for a photograph. They're about preserving the laughter, the little hands, the hugs, and the beautiful connections that make your family uniquely yours.

Don't worry about perfect smiles or perfectly still children. Some of the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments—the giggles, the cuddles, and the playful interactions that reflect who your family truly is.

A Few Tips

  • Choose outfits that coordinate rather than match exactly.

  • Neutral, earthy, or soft colors create a timeless look and keep the focus on your family.

  • Make sure everyone is well-rested and has a snack before the session, especially little ones.

  • Arrive a few minutes early so everyone has time to settle in.

  • Most importantly, let your family simply be themselves.

I'll guide you every step of the way, but I also want to leave room for the genuine moments that can't be planned.

Years from now, I hope these photographs remind you of more than what your family looked like.

I hope they remind you of the love you shared, the laughter you heard, and the beautiful season you were living in.

Session

Sometimes, all it takes is a few moments to preserve a memory that will last a lifetime.

Mini Sessions are designed to be simple, fun, and meaningful. Whether you're updating family photos, celebrating a milestone, or simply documenting this season of life, these sessions are a wonderful way to capture moments you'll cherish for years to come.

While our time together is shorter than a full session, my goal remains the same—to create authentic, timeless images that tell your story.

A Few Tips

  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can make the most of our time together.

  • Choose outfits that coordinate without matching exactly.

  • Keep accessories simple and timeless.

  • If children are participating, bring a small snack or comfort item if needed.

  • Relax, have fun, and trust the process—I'll guide you every step of the way.

Mini sessions move a little quicker, but there's still plenty of time for genuine smiles, sweet moments, and beautiful memories.

I can't wait to capture this season for you and create photographs you'll treasure for years to come.
